Shetland Reel Whisky is the first Scotch whisky to have been shipped on a 12 hour overnight ferry crossing from Aberdeen to Lerwick and then transported north across to the island of Yell via a second ferry and then around Yell to a third ferry crossing before reaching the island of Unst, the most northerly inhabited island in the UK. The whisky is then driven to the north of island at Saxa Vord distillery where it rests for a period before being bottled. A truly magical journey for a magical whisky.

Shetland Reel is the brand name of the products produced at Saxa Vord distillery on Unst and which include Shetland Reel Gin. The Malt Whisky Company provides all of the whisky for the company.
